PMS Symptom Tracker
Understand your body’s patterns. Log your daily physical and emotional symptoms for clinically neutral tracking.
How to Use This PMS Symptom Tracker
Tracking your premenstrual symptoms is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps daily to get the most accurate insight into your menstrual cycle:
Select Your Cycle Context: Choose the estimated number of days left before your next expected period.
Log Physical Symptoms: Assess common physical signs like cramps, bloating, fatigue, or breast tenderness, rating them from “None” to “Severe.”
Note Emotional Changes: Log any shifts in mood, anxiety levels, food cravings, or concentration difficulty.
Click “Log Daily Symptoms”: Save your daily data to maintain a consistent log over time.
Understanding Your Symptom Log
Once you track your symptoms for a few consecutive cycles, you will begin to notice distinct patterns.
Mild Symptoms: These are typical bodily responses to hormonal fluctuations and usually do not interfere with your daily routine.
Moderate to Severe Symptoms: If you consistently notice “Severe” ratings, especially during the luteal phase (the 1-2 weeks before your period), it may indicate a more pronounced premenstrual syndrome (PMS) or Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD).
When to Speak with a Healthcare Professional
While tracking helps you recognize personal trends, it is not a diagnostic tool. Consider scheduling an appointment with your OB-GYN or primary care physician if:
Your symptoms severely disrupt your work, school, relationships, or daily activities.
You experience feelings of severe depression, hopelessness, or panic attacks during your premenstrual phase.
Your cycle is highly unpredictable, or physical pain cannot be managed with standard over-the-counter options.
